Charlie came to pump out our septic tank 2 weeks ago at our camp. When he started the work, we realized that the baffle pipe was loose and was laying at the bottom of the tank. Charlie was not sure if he could fix it initially. I really appreciated his persistence and creativity to put in a semi-permanent fix for the piping. This was above and beyond what he was supposed to do. I would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone for septic tank work. In these times when it's hard to find people who can commit to an appointment , I found Charlie's attitude and service exceptional. Thank you Charlie!

Drive heavy equipment over sewer lines, mounds, or leach field areas. Pipes can break, fields can compact and fail.
Use a garbage disposal. It adds solids to the tank and grinds waste into fine particles that clog the leach field.
Waste money on septic additives. Natural bacteria from household waste is all a healthy system needs.

Persistent wet or soggy soil near the leach field or mound
Sewage odors near the leach field or inside the house
Slow-draining plumbing or sewage backing up into sinks or toilets
IMPORTANT: Never attempt to pump a septic tank yourself. Household waste contains dangerous pathogens, and septic tanks can contain deadly gases. Never enter a tank under any circumstances. Contact Royal Flush Sanitation at 802-748-2571 immediately for any failed or backed-up system.
